The Young Members/Future Leaders Subcommittee focuses on engaging, developing, and empowering young professionals and future leaders in project management and construction.
This subcommittee is responsible for attracting and recruiting young members, creating engagement programs, and organizing training sessions, workshops, and seminars tailored to their needs. It establishes mentorship programs connecting young members with experienced professionals, plans networking events and industry exposure opportunities, and provides leadership training and role assignments.
The subcommittee advocates for young members’ interests, provides policy input, publishes newsletters, utilizes social media for engagement, conducts surveys, and gathers feedback to improve its programs. The mandate of the subcommittee is to engage and empower young members, foster professional development, enhance networking, recognize excellence, advocate for young professionals, and drive continuous improvement. By fulfilling these duties, the subcommittee plays a crucial role in developing the next generation of leaders in project management and construction, supporting the overall mission of SAICE and the PMCD.
