Marketing and Communication

The SAICE PMCD Marketing and Communication Subcommittee is tasked with promoting the division’s activities, enhancing its public image, and ensuring effective communication with members and stakeholders.

This subcommittee develops and implements comprehensive marketing strategies, creates annual communication plans, and strengthens the PMCD brand through consistent messaging and high-quality promotional materials. It produces engaging content for newsletters, social media, websites, and print materials, maintaining an editorial calendar for content dissemination. Additionally, it manages the PMCD’s section of the SAICE website, executes social media strategies, and analyses digital marketing metrics to assess campaign effectiveness.

The subcommittee also promotes PMCD events, designs promotional materials, publishes newsletters, conducts surveys to gather feedback, and builds relationships with media outlets to secure coverage. It works closely with other PMCD subcommittees and external partners to ensure cohesive communication efforts, organizes training sessions and workshops for members, and establishes key performance indicators to measure success. The mandate of the subcommittee is to enhance visibility, increase engagement, support professional development, facilitate collaboration, maintain a consistent brand image, and regularly assess and improve marketing and communication strategies. Through these efforts, the Marketing and Communication Subcommittee plays a crucial role in advancing the objectives of the PMCD and supporting the overall mission of SAICE.
